Designing Ecommerce Platforms
Selective UX work at JD design center
I worked as an interaction Designer at JDC from 2015 to 2017. JDC is the design center of JD.com, the second-largest online retail site in China, which serves over 170 thousand sellers and 200 million users.
I served as the Design lead of the Retailer System and redesigned interfaces for retailers to manage the appearance and functionality of their online stores on JD.com. I instructed in designing the back-end human interface guidelines and designed web interaction details for JD.com shopping, promotion and user portal services. Collaborated with our user researchers, we recorded and analyzed customers’ feedback through the Post-Experience Eye-tracked Protocol, usability test and context inquiry, detailing the customers’ needs to support the design process.
To have an overview of my work, I showcase some final web products from the business sides and the customers sides. We designed products across different platforms, including PC, App, and built-in web apps.
